A United States Army veteran who served during Operation Desert Storm as a Communications Specialist, Booker went on to serve as a retired Bayonne Police Officer. He is a Kean University graduate and served as Councilman-at-Large. His mayoral campaign centered on building a Bayonne that is safe, equitable, and accountable to its residents.
Booker publicly campaigned on a platform of transparency and accountability in city government, stating his commitment to open communication with Bayonne residents on decisions that affect their neighborhoods.
